The Flight Centre Travel Group celebrated Halloween 2016 with the opening of its new headquarters located within the commercial tower of Anthony John Group’s $590m Southpoint complex at Brisbane’s Southbank.

The envy of offices all over the world. Flight Centre has some impressive features that include a rooftop restaurant and bar with a breathtaking view of the Brisbane skyline, a Rhine river cruise-themed meeting room, a lunchroom with picnic tables, outdoor BBQ area, a large gym with 42 classes running weekly, a massage and beauty room and the highlight of everyone’s day to glide down the large slippery slide between floors!

The entrance of the office features a video wall with an unusual shape and format giving it the feeling of being more like a piece of art hanging on the wall rather than an actual video wall!

With such an atypical shape the display required a commanding digital signage solution and Scala was the perfect fit to drive the content.

Blackwell’s Design Co provide the artwork and storyboard which is a collection of high-quality travel photos and videos. 

NEC provided the displays and installation. The resolution of the canvas is over 8K (9134x3260 pixels to be exact) and driven by a single Scala media player.

TechMedia provided the Scala media player hardware and software bringing the material to life by applying visual treatments and animations to make the content ‘pop’ to suit the environment.
