Where in the world can you find Scala this week? In our Platform Partner iBASE’s booth at the Computex show in Taiwan! Scala Solution Sales partner TechMedia created the content driving the impressive 12 screen video wall.
Big news from the show! iBASE’s SI-60E Extreme Performance 8K Digital Signage Player with Twelve HDMI won the Best Choice Award in the IPC & Embedded Products category. Here’s what the award description had to say: “The SI-60E is an innovative digital signage player built for multi-screen video wall display applications. It supports up to 12 display outputs featuring IBASE Multiple-Display Matrix Technology and offers awesome 3D graphics performance with resolutions up to 7680 x 3600.”
Australia-based TechMedia, a Scala Certified Partner for almost 20 years, used Scala Designer to create the display’s real-time content, animation, overlay and transparency in 2K x 12K resolution. Scala Content Manager and Scala Player 10.5.5 are powering the display wall.
Using the real-time capabilities of Scala playback, we were able to create our playback script in native resolution and add and animate media elements easily within the Designer application - even 4K video clips.
