InfoChannel Player 3 provides stable reliable multimedia playback for virtually any environment including retail dynamic signage, corporate communications, cable television, education, or government.

Player 3 runs continuously on-site and seamlessly updates content on dynamic signage displays including plasma, cable headends, or kiosks. Text, graphics, sound and video can be dynamically scheduled and customized at each location.

THE BROADCAST TV LOOK

Scala's renowned multimedia technology delivers the look and feel of broadcast television.

You can seamlessly combine text, graphics, animation, sound and video for display on TV channels as well as web channels. Even integrate digital video (MPEG I or II) or control external VCRs & switchers. Never again jump through hoops just to make a simple screen transition. Use Fades, Pushes, Reveals, Zooms, and our amazing Alpha wipes. Control speed and direction.

INFOCHANNEL INTEGRATION

Add potentially thousands of remote dynamic signage displays, kiosks, or television stations.

Users can create content using InfoChannel Designer 3 or Reporter 3, distribute using Network Manager 3, and optionally transmit over satellite or multicast with Broadcast Server 3. InfoChannel Player 3 then takes over - displaying your beautiful motion graphics at remote sites with trustworthy, reliable performance and

DATA FEED SYSTEM

InfoChannel Players can receive continuously updated text files during run-time. News, weather, schedules, sales numbers and other data can be dynamically displayed. Any system that can generate text files can be monitored by with attractive InfoChannel screens. Use it to provide employees with live feedback on company operations throughout the day. Use it to motivate the workforce and manage quality. Tie your point of purchase displays to valuable up-to-the-second information for your customers.

LOGGING

Players can record log files, report event times, and label user-specified screens. Logs can then be remotely collected from a central location to measure kiosk usage or advertisement run times. This is an essential feature that helps you bill the customer and make money. Logging features also help keep your multimedia network running continuously. Don't wait for the public to telephone you with "down-screen" reports. With Scala, accountability is maintained, and nothing is ever a mystery to you.
