This switch can be used to turn off the play counter display, which is normally overlaid on your videclips during playback. In most cases this small display is not an inconvenience, and provide a handy time-code readout and stop-button functionality. But for various presentation applications it can be useful to play scenes from the scene bin with no visible overlay - for example, when using the Casablanca for public presentations or shop-window displays.

Loop mode is a useful function that enables continuous playback of a scene or an entire storyboard. The selected video will infinitely repeat, making this ideal for trade show or in-store demonstrations and promotions.

This is a time saving and ease-of-installation function that makes your Casablanca a dedicated presentation tool. When "play on startup" is active the playback of the storyboard commencs as soon as the Casablanca is turned on.

There is no need to have the trackball or keyboard attached and no action from the user is required to start the presentation - ideal for fast and simple setup at remote sites.

NOTE : the power-up procedure requires use of the front panel power button - it is not possible to use a time controlled switch to power up the unit.
