The Bluebox effect is part of the software included with every 20 GB hard-disk version of Casablanca Avio and with every Casablanca Prestige and Kron.

Because the BlueBox Effect is an additional product with Avio, it has to be unlocked before using it for the first time. An explanation on how to do this can be found in the manual. Casablanca Avios with 20 GB hard-disks are shipped with the necessary code while users of the old 13 GB version will have to order the required code. To do this, contact Techmedia and provide us with your Casablanca Avio's serial number. This effect is included as standard with Prestige and Kron, so there's no need to unlock it in these cases

The BlueBox effect replaces a specified colour component of the screen's image with another scene. For example : A person standing in front of a blue wall could be made to stand in front of another scene you have previously recorded. The effect can be made to replace the blue color of the wall with a second scene. This way, you can achieve well-known TV effects such as having a presenter standing in front of a weather diagram/map.
