Casablanca Prestige PLUS is the new, smart production solution for digital video editing. Make your video the finest - without external, additional equipment and totally without a PC or PC experience.

HARDWARE

DV port and Direct-DV mode as standard:

Casablanca Prestige PLUS features two DV or i-Link in- / out ports. This allows you to transfer video data to and from a digital camcorder or VCR. All data is recorded to the internal hard-drive without further conversion - resulting in excellent picture quality. You can also record analog video for use in your projects via the separate analog inputs. Record your finished project to either analog tape or direct to DV.

DVD-writer and DVD DICON

Create your own DVDs using the integrated DVD-writer. And thanks to DVD DICON, video data can be converted to the DVD video format in real time. Hardware supported MPEG-2 compression makes this possible, resulting in a conversion time that is up to 20 times faster than on PCs. The DVDs can be used on nearly all available DVD players.

Flexible front inputs and removeable 160GB hard-drive.

The convenient front inputs tremendously simplify capture from the camera/VCR to Casablanca Prestige PLUS. The removeable hard-drive offers limitless expandable capacity.

Moreover, Casablanca Prestige PLUS features a SmartMedia-drive. Smart Media cards have a capacity of between 4 and 128 MB. and are considerably faster than floppy-disks, making for really fast software updates.

It has never been this easy to edit. The SMART EDIT user interaface is both easy to learn for novices and creatively flexible. The editing process is clear, logical and fast.
