Scala, Inc., the leading provider of digital signage control software, today strengthens its position with the release of version 7.1 of the InfoChannel 3 suite of products. This new release builds upon the already strong digital signage platform, adding support for Microsoft Streaming Media and High Definition (HDTV) playback. Release 7.1 also adds support for Unicode, setting the stage for supporting a broad array of Asian character sets including Japanese, Chinese and Korean.
