Techmedia are pleased to announce the availability of GlobeCaster version 3.0 software (Release Candidate 1), applicable to GlobeCaster 4000 & 8000, Live and Post systems. Following are a list of some enhancements included with this new version:

• 16:9 Aspect Ratio support for wide-screen video
• Audio-Follows-Video for connecting audio inputs to video inputs
• Enhanced multi-monitor support for running GC apps on individual monitors
• TMX - External Time Machine storage capability
• DSK Preview for ALL layers
• TimeLine Pause Points for A
• Many other enhancements and bug fixes

Please Note :

• This is a new installation for all GlobeCaster customers. Trinity customers should contact their local GlobalStreams Authorized Reseller to upgrade to GlobeCaster in order to take advantage of this new version. This release will only function on a GlobeCaster or an upgraded Trinity.
• This version will revert all of the input and output profiles back to their original factory defaults. If you have saved any custom profiles, you should make a note of any custom settings so that you can restore them after this version is installed.
• This version REQUIRES a 1 MB Static RAM module on the Coordinator Card. If the GlobeCaster has a Time Machine or a DV/IO card, this memory module has been installed. The new version of software will not function without this memory update.
• This version is free to download for all customers who are under a current warranty contract with GlobalStreams, Inc. To check the current status of your warranty, visit the Customer Profile page on the Global Streams web site.
